   HAH Coordinator Job Description

We are looking for friendly, reliable Home Helps to join our team. Age Concern Petersfield & District organise a Help at Home service for people who need help doing the jobs and daily chores they are no longer able to cope with. Our home helps support our clients (aged 50+) with general cleaning, laundry and ironing, shopping, cooking a light meal, companionship etc.

We are looking for honest, reliable and engaging individuals to fill our home help positions. Individuals must be able to work on their own common sense and initiative and be consistent and dependable in maintaining visits to clients as well as keeping the office updated.

Experience is required in caring/cleaning lines of work but not absolutely essential. Ideally you will have experience of working with older and disabled people.

Home Helps are registered self-employed and therefore responsible for paying their own tax and National Insurance contributions. The basic hourly rate for a Home Help is £12 per hour.
