Come and see us at the East Hampshire Dementia Festival, Friday 8th April, 10-4.30pm, at the Festival Hall in Petersfield. As well as being a dementia-friendly event, the festival seeks to provide a range of information stalls to highlight the support available. The local dementia choir will also be performing.

Our first social afternoon was a great hit with the knowledgeable and talented John who entertained us with songs from many favourite shows. People were singing along, toes were tapping and one man serenaded his wife as John played a song from their wedding day.

It’s that time of the year again! See our new Outings Programme 2022. We look forward to some fun trips out to places new and old. Have a look through and drop a form into Winton House. This year we have dovetailed them with the Winton House Outings so do have a look at theirs too.

It was a happy but tearful lunch club when we said goodbye to Doreen Huebler who is jetting off to America to live near her son. Doreen has been coming to lunch club for many years, more recently on her own since her husband Andrew died. We wish her all the very best.

Come and eat cake at our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Wednesday 13th October, 10-12noon, at the Winton House Centre. This is a joint event with ourselves and Winton House to raise much needed funds for crucial cancer care and support. All welcome.

What a wonderful Sunday afternoon we had with our amazing team of lockdown volunteers. The BBQ and drinks party was a year late, but well worth the wait to say a heartfelt thank you to the team. They enabled us to help so many people during what was for some a very scary and lonely time.

Our Autumn outings programme is now out with Christmas themed trips to the theatre in Bognor Regis, a Christmas afternoon tea, and a carol concert in Guildford Cathedral. Places are limited so do please book early.

We are delighted that our twice weekly lunch club will resume on Tuesday 31st August, 12 noon, at the Community Centre. Marian our cook creates delicious meals, two courses freshly cooked, for £5. Transport can be arranged. Just give us a call if you would like to come along. All welcome.
